Everything starts in 1982, when Franz receives land next to his father’s farm. But not without challenges: only after seven project submissions, transferring the farmstead Gargitt, and thanks to the help of his parents and siblings, the constructions can start. A few months later, the 21 years old Franz opens the Lüsnerhof, the first hotel in the valley for private travelers. His sister Ehrentraud helps in the kitchen, Franz himself shows his skills in the office, service, and guest relations. For a born innkeeper like Franz, this is no problem. Shifts that last up to 16 hours, no days off, and hard physical work are accepted without complaint because it pays off. Exactly with this morality, work at the hotel went on until today, creating a unique philosophy passed down through generations and noticeable in all our accommodations.
