Ski fun around Brixen

LONG SLOPES, A LOT OF SUN, AND GUARANTEED FUN
Long, perfectly prepared slopes, the wind in your hair, and fresh air in your lungs: a ski day at Plose mountain with its more than 40 kilometers of slopes, makes the hearts of ski lovers beat faster. Many descents on red or blue slopes guarantee a beautiful day for leisure skiers, black slopes provide the necessary excitement, and at the ski school, you can collect your first skiing experiences. The two peaks at the skiing area, Plose and Pfannspitze, offer great views of the surrounding mountains and wide slopes for joyful descents. The Brixen Card makes it possible for our guests to enjoy one free ascent and descent to Plose a day. Who prefers getting up the mountain on their own, the touring skis on their feet, has the possibility to do that once a week: on Friday evenings, the huts in the skiing area stay open a little longer and the slopes are open for ski-tourers. Sport and fun are a guarantee when you hike up the steep Trametsch and then ski down in the moonlight.

Day trips in the Dolomites

SKIING IN GRÖDEN AND BADIA
The Dolomites are one of South Tyrol’s landmarks – and Brixen is in the middle of them. Starting at the episcopal city, in 40 minutes you can reach the Dolomites valley Gröden, a paradise for skiers. With its breathtaking landscapes, the perfectly prepared slopes, and the traditional huts, the Grödental attracts winter lovers from all over the world. One of the highlights during a skiing holiday in the Dolomites is the circumnavigation of the Sella Mountain group, the so-called Sellaronda. A unique skiing experience, which connects the four Dolomite valleys Gröden, Alta Badia, Arabba, and Fassa. This round trip doesn’t only offer an impressive variety of descents, but also spectacular views of the majestic peaks of the Dolomites. For winter hikes, ski tours, and hut-to-hut hikes in the snow, the Dolomite Valleys have a lot to offer, too. You don’t need to be a passionate skier to spend a pleasant day in the UNESCO World Heritage of the Dolomites!
